ALMOST EVEN STUDIO

Chroma Relay
Privacy Policy

Effective: September 13, 2026

Chroma Relay, provided by Almost Even Studio, offers core gameplay on your device. You may choose to participate in online leaderboards as a guest or use rewarded ads to access first-move hints.

Online account & record deletion

Online account and ranking record deletion

You can delete your online account from Leaderboards → Participation & Data → Delete Online Account & Records. This action cannot be undone and deletes both test and live ranking records associated with that guest account. Puzzle progress and personal records on your device remain.

If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion without reinstalling by emailing almost.even93@gmail.com. Use the subject Chroma Relay account deletion request, and include your nickname and request. To prevent someone else from deleting your records, we will explain what additional information is needed to verify ownership. We do not delete accounts based only on a public nickname or score, and we do not request passwords or login tokens. If ownership cannot be verified, we will explain available verification methods and any limitations on processing the request.

We process verified requests without undue delay and reply with the result. Your inquiry email and its contents are used only to handle the request and are deleted within 30 days after it is resolved. If retention is required by law, we will explain the reason and period separately.

1. Information we process

You can play Chroma Relay without entering an email address or password. If you choose to participate in online rankings, we create a guest account through Supabase and process a randomly generated account identifier, nickname, participation status and creation time. We do not request access to contacts, precise location, photos or general Google Drive files. Versions that support rewarded ads use the Google AdMob SDK. We do not use a payment SDK or a separate analytics SDK.

2. Game information stored on your device

Level progress, best move counts, Infinite Relay personal bests, and language, sound, haptics and animation settings are stored on your device. First-move hint entitlements and reward-processing status are also stored locally. When you participate in rankings, sign-in session information and game records awaiting submission are stored on your device as well.

Clearing app data, reinstalling or changing devices may prevent you from accessing the same guest account again. Guest rankings do not provide a backup that transfers puzzle progress or hint entitlements to another device.

3. Information used for online rankings

For Infinite Relay runs started after joining, we send inputs such as moves and shuffles, the run identifier and random seed, rules version, score, game status and transmission time to the server to verify scores. Verified game state, input-batch hashes and processing results, and best scores are stored on the server and linked to the account.

The leaderboard displays nicknames, public identifiers, scores and ranks. Account identifiers and game inputs are not publicly displayed on the leaderboard. You can play puzzles and solo Infinite Relay without participating.

4. Service providers and sign-up protection

We use Supabase for guest authentication, the database and score-verification server operations. The game database uses the Seoul region. Cloudflare Turnstile protects new guest sign-ups. During sign-up protection, connection information such as your IP address and browser/device environment is sent to Cloudflare, and Supabase checks the verification result. Providers may also process IP addresses and security information such as requests and errors during authentication and communication.

Some support and security processing may take place on providers' global infrastructure. The studio does not use this information for advertising tracking or sell it.

5. Retention, deletion and your choices

Local information remains while app data is retained. Live ranking game states and verification-processing records are cleaned up after 30 days without an update. Best scores, profiles and guest accounts remain until the online account is deleted.

Turning ranking participation off stops new score submissions and discards unsent records, but previously submitted rankings remain. A submission already in progress may finish. Deleting an online account removes its profile, best scores and game-verification records. Providers may apply separate retention policies to security logs and similar information. Clearing device data alone does not delete your online account.

6. Optional rewarded ads and Google's information processing

First-move hints are provided when you choose to watch a rewarded ad and meet its reward requirements. You can solve puzzles without watching ads. We use Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to provide ads and the User Messaging Platform to manage consent.

Google may collect and share IP addresses (used to estimate approximate location), device identifiers such as advertising IDs and app set IDs, interaction information such as app launches, ad views and video viewing, and diagnostic information such as errors and performance. This information is used for ad delivery, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. We do not request precise-location permission. Data transmitted by the SDK is encrypted in transit.

Google's processing may take place on global infrastructure, including in the United States. Retention periods and deletion procedures follow Google's policies. Depending on your region and consent status, Google may display a consent message. Where choices can be changed, you can manage them using Ad Privacy Choices in the app's Settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings.

Declining personalized ads does not stop all processing needed for ad delivery and security. Ranking participation and ad use are separate choices. The studio does not send ranking profiles or game-verification records to Google for ad targeting.

7. Security and children

Online information is transmitted using HTTPS. Server-side account checks and access restrictions help prevent users from changing other users' records. Chroma Relay is not designed as a service directed at children under 13. Requests to access, correct or delete personal information, or to stop processing it, can be sent to the contact below.

8. Policy changes

The September 13, 2026 revision adds an English translation and identifies the language preference among settings stored on your device. It does not introduce new data collection or change retention periods.

The September 12, 2026 revision adds information about optional rewarded ads. Ad-related processing applies to versions with advertising features; it does not introduce new collection into previous versions without ads. Guest-ranking information applies to versions supporting that feature. Earlier offline-only versions use local device storage only.

For earlier Play Games versions, Google's Privacy Policy and Play Games settings apply to player identifiers, scores, progress backups and SDK usage/diagnostic information sent to Google. Existing Google game data can be managed using Google's game-data deletion feature. If our processing changes, we will update this policy and the Google Play Data safety information.
